The film In the Claws of a Century Wanting examines urban housing in Manila. Digital access to stream the film in advance will be made available to registered attendees through UNC’s library.
The panel will include
- Documentarian Jewel Maranan, who made this film
- Dr. Joseph Palis (University of the Philippines – Diliman)
- Dr. Chester Arcilla (University of the Philippines – Manila)
This event will be moderated by Mike Hawkins, a PhD. candidate in the UNC Department of Geography.
