This special panel hosted by the Carolina Asia Center will talk about what is happening in Myanmar (also known as Burma) and why it matters. Dr. Frances O’Morchoe will join us from Yangon, alongside Ms. Sarmuna Wei of North Carolina’s Karen diaspora community, and Ms. Ann Suk of UNC’s Anthropology Department will moderate.
