The Emerging Alliance of Religion and Ecology: Problems and Promises

A presentation by Mary Evelyn Tucker and John Grim of Yale University.

This talk describes the emergence of the field of religion and ecology and highlights some of the work being done within religious communities around the world to bring healing and restoration to people and land. While acknowledging the limitations of religion, it also notes the promise for ethical and spiritual transformation regarding ecological attitudes and practices.
