UNC’s Javanese Gamelan “Nyai Saraswati” and Angklung Ensemble presents its Spring Concert 2023
“SARASWATI – Goddess of Music”
Wednesday, April 5, 2023 – 8:00 P.M.
Moeser Auditorium, Hill Hall (145 E. Cameron Ave., Chapel Hill, NC 27514)
Featuring original student compositions by Chase Bonin and Matthew Bare, and a set of songs for Angklung by Indonesia’s leading woman composer Saridjah Niung, a.k.a “Ibu Sud”
After the concert the audience is invited to try out the instruments.
