Japanese Film Series: Tokyo Story (1953)

November 6, 2015 @ 6:15 pm - 8:45 pm

This film tells the experience of an old couple visiting their grown children in Tokyo. After being coldly received by their daughter and son, they turn to the widowed daughter-in-law who treats them kindly. The depiction of daily life, aging, family bond, and passage of time makes it one of the greatest films of all time. Directed by Yasujiro Ozu.
