February 28, 2016

Apply to the South’s preeminent student conference on U.S.-China relations! Every year, Duke-UNC China Leadership Summit (CLS) brings together 100 of the most promising undergraduates from around China and the U.S. who are interested in deepening their understanding of China and creating a more productive relationship between the U.S. and China.

As a delegate, you will attend panels, roundtable discussions, seminars and keynote speeches led by experts committed to the U.S.-China relationship in various fields including academia, business, government, and social activism. This year’s keynote speakers include Robert Daly, Director of the Kissinger Institute, Senator James Sasser, the U.S. Ambassador to China from 1995-1999, and Amb. Julia Chang Bloch, President of US-China Education Trust.

We encourage anyone with interests in international relations or East Asia studies to apply, though students of all backgrounds are welcome! The application deadline for UNC students is February 28th, 2016.

We have attached a flyer for your reference. Visit our Facebook page Duke-UNC China Leadership Summit or www.dukeunccls.com for the speaker list and further application details.
