Bhangra Elite Tryout
August 28, 2016 - August 30, 2016
The Bhangra Elite is having their tryouts again for this fall semester! Bhangra is a traditional folk dance that originated in Punjab. It has rapidly spread all over the world due to its high energy, vibe and passion. Bhangra Elite was founded in 1996 and has since performed all over the nation and for our very own Chancellor Folt during her inauguration a few years back. They are widely known around campus and also give back to the community with our annual event Bhangra Sutra, from which all proceeds go to a charity chosen by the team.
No dance experience necessary! Just come with your friends, have fun and get a solid workout.
