Asia Scholarships Panel

November 3, 2016 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Are you looking for funding opportunities to study abroad in Asia?
Are you looking for funding opportunities to study Asian language or culture at UNC?
Are you looking for funding opportunities to research or intern in Asia?
Are you looking for funding opportunities for post-graduation projects in Asia?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above, don’t miss the upcoming information session on Asia-related funding opportunities for Carolina students.

On November 3, UNC faculty and staff will host a panel about funding opportunities for studying Asia on campus or studying abroad in Asia. A comprehensive list of Asia scholarships will be presented, including the Phillips Ambassadors Scholarship, Foreign Language & Area Studies Fellowship, Weir Fellowship, Schwarzman Scholars, Fulbright U.S. Student Program and many more.

Representatives from the Carolina Asia Center, Center for Global Initiatives, Office of Distinguished Scholarships, Study Abroad Office, and the Weir Honors Fellowships in Asian Studies–in addition to Jason Wang, 2009 Weir Fellow and Director of Asia Programs at CET Academic Programs–will be present to share information and talk with students. Bring a pen, paper, and all your questions about funding your passion for Asia.

Co-sponsored by the Carolina Asia Center, Center for Global Initiatives, Office of Distinguished Scholarships, Study Abroad Office, and the Weir Honors Fellowships in Asian Studies.
