There are many wonderful opportunities for K-12 and community college educators to expand their global knowledge about Asia. There are online workshops, simulcasts, webinars, book groups, seminars in NC and other locations, summer institutes, field studies, and more. Educators participate in discussion and learning through workshops and courses taken from their own home. Some of these courses offer opportunities for receiving professional development hours or graduate credit.
Book Groups foster in-depth discussion and analysis of publications. Educators share their insights in this close community group.
Educators have the opportunity to learn about Asia through first-hand experiences. These courses allow educators to study while traveling through Asia.
