Modern Indian Studies: Bhangra Workshop with Lavesh Pritmani

On Monday, April 24th from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the FedEx Center for Global Education Atrium, the Modern Indian Studies (MIS) Initiative in collaboration with UNC Global Affairs, UNC Chalkaa, and Bhangra Elite are hosting a Bhangra Workshop event. Join UNC alumnus and founder of Learn Bhangra, Lavesh Pritmani, for an interactive lecture-demonstration and workshop about the dance tradition of Bhangra! The event will include snacks and tea, a lecture-demonstration about the history of Bhangra, and an interactive participatory workshop. Students, staff, faculty, and community members are all welcome and invited to attend!
