Please join us on Friday February 12, 2016 for the next monthly meeting of Urdu Majlis, the Triangle’s Urdu Literary Forum.
This Urdu Majlis will celebrate the life and works of poet Parveen Shakir (1952-1994).

Location: Corner of McCauley and Pittsboro Streets on the UNC Campus.
Directions from Raleigh:
Take I-40 West toward Chapel Hill. Take exit 273A for Route 54 toward Chapel Hill. Continue on 54 past the Glen Lenox Shopping Center. DO NOT TAKE the exit for the 15-501 bypass. Continue straight on 54 under the overpass and go up the hill. At this point you will be on South Road/Raleigh Rd. Continue straight past the Student Union and the UNC Bell Tower. Cross Columbia Street. South Rd. changes into McCauley.
Take the first left on Pharmacy Lane, park under the building or in the adjacent lot.
Directions from Franklin Street (Chapel Hill):
Turn LEFT onto S. Columbia St. from Franklin St. Follow the road through one light. At Cameron Street you will have to go right briefly on Cameron St, and then take an immediate LEFT turn onto Pittsboro St. You will pass the Carolina Inn on your left. At the next light, you will see the building in front of you. Turn left on McCauley and immediately right on Pharmacy Lane. Park under the building or in the adjacent lot.
